this Dell laptop battery is a nightmare. i bought 2 defective ones in a row and now dell will only refund one of them. the first one didn't charge at all. after 2 weeks, the second one doesn't charge past 5% of its capability. Dell will not refund me for the first one because their agents never connected me to the right # after I purchased the second one. Now i am over the 21 days. Dell has problems.

I owned my Sony VGN-FZ for about 1 years. Now its original battery is nearly dead (just work about 30 minutes). Though the new battery can last about 2-3 hours when fully charged. I asked Sony Customre service if they can replace or repaire the battery for me. They said they can do nothing as the battery out of its warranty (just advise me to calibrate it).

As my work need to travel to everywhere in London, so I need a battery replacement urgently. I can not find anything from sony.com except "No match documents was found for your search. Please try with different keyword(s)." I serched in Google.com and find many original VGP-BPS8 batteries, but I cannot belive them(my last original latitude d620 battery which buing from a online shop is just a second-hand battery). It works great and i love how you can play dvd's without booting windows. I can play all my games, even the graphics heav...y 3D ones not like my laso notebook Latitude D600 Battery .
I got the e1505 about 2 months ago and so far only managed to really screw it up once. I had to do the system restore (from the restore partition) and it only took about 10 minutes tops to reformat and reload the OS. The Radeon x1400 is very good for... what it is. I don't run real high res in my games so it performs very nicely and still looks good. The display is very sharp and crisp and all text is very legible even for my poor ol' eyes. It's very quick at video rendering for DVD creation and the boot time is very fast (about a minute) due to a very quick HD. My only gripe is all the extra junk Dell feels the need to pile on, and the fact that a factory restore disc is extra (although that seems to be the norm anymore). All in all, it's been a very good replacement for my aging desktop.
